
Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary (POJOSS) has confidently booked their place in the semi-finals of the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz. The school delivered a commanding performance to defeat Ofori Panin SHS and Osei Tutu SHS in their quarter-final clash.

In a highly anticipated quarter-final contest held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, POJOSS emerged victorious to claim the second available slot in the next stage of the national championship.
At the end of the grueling contest, Pope John SHS & Minor Seminary stood tall with an impressive final score of 47 points. Ofori Panin Senior High School, despite putting up a spirited fight, finished in second place with 31 points.
Osei Tutu Senior High School trailed in third place, ending the contest with 22 points.
The quarter-final match was closely watched by alumni and supporters from all three institutions. The final round featured the Riddle Bonanza, which was proudly sponsored by GOIL, adding an extra layer of excitement to the conclusion of the contest.
With this decisive win, Pope John SHS & Minor Seminary has successfully punched their ticket to the semi-finals.
They now join Prempeh College, who earlier secured the first slot. POJOSS remains a formidable contender in the race for the 2026 trophy, and their supporters are eagerly anticipating their next challenge on the national stage.
